A Little About The Artist

    Born in Alton Illinois in 1962, Karman ( K.K.) Fairless has been providing graphic & fine art services since the late 70's. Karman's professional career began as a designer / illustrator for local T-shirt screen printers. He was introduced to the airbrush at about this same time by a local artist and mentor, Hearvey Mouser.
    Karman's extraordinary talent's cover a wide range of specialties, including cover illustration, murals & display art to logos, promotional graphics & business marketing design. Karman finds enjoyment in decorating street rods & custom bikes with fascinating airbrush murals, flames & radical graphics. His illustrations have been published as cover art for greeting cards, posters, music, books & videos.
    K.K. is also experienced in 3-D art & product design. Many of his sculptures have been reproduced as toys, jewelry, figurines' & novelties. Karman's murals & signage grace the walls of homes, shops and businesses throughout the Midwest. You can find Karman working on a never-ending list of art projects. He might be found painting art for a show or elbow deep working on his 1937 Olds street rod project.
    Karman currently resides in Godfrey, Illinois with his wonderful wife Ellen & daughter Megan. He and his wife own and operate Karman Art & Design. He is available for commissioned artwork of all types.
